This came on during the Office last night. It first aired during the NFL games on Sunday.

It’s very cool to see something we have been doing for 4 years getting so much attention now.

We missed the Jan 17 Crossfit PEI Anniversary! It will be a long time before I forget that first workout. 4 years ago from last Tuesday I got this email from Dave:

Good work this morning Gerry! You pushed yourself hard (maybe a little more than you needed to for first time, but that is how you find your way). Pushing and finding one’s limits is a big part of CrossFit. Mastering the movements and then pushing at high intensity. We’ll take into consideration for Monday how hard you worked and adjust accordingly. Drink lots of water today. That’s a must. Eat well, low carb. high protein, meat, vegetable, nuts, seeds and some fruit. Stretch lots, but not to extremes. Ice areas if they’re sore. And contact me to let me know how you feel and if you have any questions or concerns.
    Good work.

amazing how those basic concepts hold so true today.

I wimped out and didn’t make it to that first class. For some reason CrossFit scared me a little bit. I didn’t go until the next one on Monday the 21st. I guess I’ll celebrate my anniversary tomorrow.
