Sometimes 20 minutes is just a bit too long!

This mornings WOD was pulled from the Hopper Deck, a great little tool to keep things fresh. The card was the 10 of Spades.

20 min AMRAP of:
15 OverHead Squats
10 Knees to Elbows
5 Hand Stand Pushups

Well after 5 minutes it was becoming evident that 20 was going to be a little too long today so at the 10 minute mark they were all told there was “5 minutes left.” No more explaination was given and no questions were asked, it wasn’t until afterwards that I told them it was cut to 15minutes. Why? Well there is a point of ‘diminished returns’ and that is what it was looking like.

Folks were good about doing the 2, yes 2 extra HandStand Pushup per round for every Abmat or 25# plate they used to limit the depth.

Rounds in 15 minutes:
Chris F. ?
Chris L. 4
Chris Ga. 5
Gary 5
Carol 6
Greg 4
Mary Lynn 8
Simon 4
Jeff H. 6

I could not make it today, so Ellen made me do this from home. Used steel bar for OHSs, so made it 20 mins. 8+ tough, but glad we’ve been getting lots of practice on HSPUs … I need it.
