Thursday, January 7, 2009 – Basics Class
We warmed up this morning with Shoulder Passthroughs, Fanny Whackers, Crossovers and Overhead Squats. We then spent some time on Push Up variations.
After we reviewed the Med Ball Clean, we hit the following four round partner workout:
10 Med Ball Cleans
10 Push Ups
Both people had to finish one exercise before moving on to the next but only one partner could work while the other partner counted. If the hips didn’t fully open both times during the Med Ball Clean the partner would not count it. If the instructor saw a rep counted where the hips did not open both times then two reps were taken away.
People really pushed hard on this. The times were:
