Monday, October 12, 2009 – Team Workout

Over thirty showed up for the holiday WOD at 10:00. After some group work on Air Squats, Dave laid out the following workout: Team Floating Fran.

In teams of five you had to 250 Thrusters and 250 Pull Ups – one group of six did 300. The catch? The bar could never touch the ground so two members of the team had to rotate in as the rack. If the bar hit the ground the count went back to zero.

With weights ranging from 45 to 95 lbs all the teams pushed hard with times ranging from 11 to 15 minutes.  This required a lot of team work and was a lot of fun.

After that we stuck around and did max vertical standing jumps with a lot of people getting up over 40 inches.

    Great work on the website Mike. Fun workout today, great to see folks going higher on the boxes, so if getting from the starter box up to the real boxes and lots going for 2 boxes and even more.

    Isn’t it great that there are so many ways to enjoy lovely “Fran”? Haha! Thrusters felt heavy today, but it was good to do this one with a group to help push you through.
