not cool when my first round was longer than my total fran time….this was an ugly workout that is for sure… going to need some solid recovery time if FGB is going to be any good at all

Fear not Megan, this was on purpose. A hard WOD 3 to 4 days prior to a competition, race big game, etc.. There have be no heavy DeadLift for over a wk. to ensure adequate recovery time and the squats that have been part of the WOD’s have all been on the light side. The hard metabolic WOD’s hit hard but as long as people fuel properly afterward recovery should not be an issue. Have a game plan for Saturday that includes adequate rest and nutrition.

well said Dave….alternatively you could take your rest day on a day such as today’s crazy workout…like moi!

This WOD was second only to BADGER in its degree of nastiness!! Huge thanks to Mike for coaching me through it at 6am!

You did great Heather – especially since you were rowing the 400m. Tracy and I were talking about it before and figured that the row would be brutal.

    This was a tough workout.
I think Amanda would agree with me. When I asked her what her favourite part of the workout was, I’m pretty sure she gave the me the finger.

Sorry Dixon, and yes I would have given you the finger if I could have lifted my arms up :) Gross….

For someone who actually enjoyed Badger, this was hard. I thought I was going to throw up. I didn’t but that could change on Saturday.
The hardest part seemed to be getting the breathing down. I agree with Amanda on the favourite part … and on giving Dixon the finger.
I think I’ll go do it now …
