CrossFit Games 2009 – Affiliate Team OH Squats/Pull Ups
Here is the second workout from the Affiliate Cup. Amanda, Anne, Kyle and Mike had 20 minutes to get their max pull ups in 3 rounds and max 3 rep overhead squat.
To make the most efficient use of our time, Kyle came up with the strategy to have the girls go first on the OH squats while the guys changed weights. Once the girls hit their max weights, the guys did their OH Squats while the girls did pull ups.
You could attempt the 3 rep max on the OH Squat as many times as you want so while Kyle and I were doing our pull ups, Amanda came back in and did 115 pounds for three reps! Very cool to see both girls go so hard on the pull ups too as this was the second of three workouts that Anne and Amanda did that day.
The total pull ups for all 3 rounds for each person were added to their max weight (in pounds) with the team score being the sum of all four member’s scores.
